Not to be mean but it's cool that they give us this. But like...the people who got a doll get double rewarded. :( IDK seems a bit unfair but cannot be helped I guess...

What I get from this is

"We messed up big time. Here's 25% off, please don't be mad at us"

People spent hours waiting in line to get dolls at a store and then spending 2+ hours of their days yesterday trying to get the dolls online. So many people ended up empty handed on both accounts so them naming the code THANKYOU25 is them basically saying "Thanks for wasting your time trying to buy our stuff when we knew we didn't supply our stores properly or prepare for the online traffic even though we didn't release the dolls as planned because of what happened with Snow White."

This really does not make up for anything at all. I am still incredibly upset by all of this and am debating getting rid of the 2 dolls that I currently have.

I honestly could not agree with you more. This makes up for nothing, if anything it's more of a slap in the face, 25 % isn't a whole lot and honestly they have so much money what's it to them. They don't care about how much time some fans wasted, waiting, hoping, only to finally be crushed after it all. They should have just kept with what they were doing, releasing one a week, yes things got crazy with Snow White, but it was nothing compared to yesterday.

Yeah, I'm getting the "We messed up please don't hate us" vibe as well. Perhaps if the code had been "IMREALLYSORRY75" it would be better.... LOL.

Right?! They're still doing something to turn a profit! For being one of the biggest businesses in the world they have terrible customer service. I've always stood up for them when people say they're just money hungry masked by 'magic', and for the first time I really feel like that's all they care about, money.

That's the worst part of being a Disney fan, right there. You can try to tunnel-vision it and say you're in it for the art and the fandom and the wonder, but you can only do that for so long before you realize that underneath that it's pretty much ugly and greedy all the way down.

Maybe then, its up to us, the fans to change that. :) How? I'm not sure, but we can sure let them know that we don't appreciate when they take advantage of us and try to take the magic away. The magic that we so know and love, perhaps more than they do.

As much as I don't want to, I probably will use the coupon tomorrow when I order the animator's Rapunzel and Mulan... :/
