Survived Disney Princess Dollmageddon
Hey erryone. I was one of the lucky ones who was able to get the last 5 dolls and complete my collection. My sister, her gf and I arrived at the mall at 4 30 AM. We stood in line outside with fellow customers and at 5 AM a janitor opened the doors and everyone ran towards the store. We ran as fast as we could some men held my sister and her gf back by their shoulders just so they can get a head of them. 10 minutes later we all got kicked out by security and they told us to go back into our cars. He said we weren't allowed to line up until 6 AM. 10 mins to six another race to the front door of the mall started again. And this time we weren't so sure if we were gonna walk away with any doll. We stood in the cold and waited for a sign of a cast member, some people argued, people in the very front started talking smack on how erryone behind them should leave cause they ain't getting any dolls trying to antagonize people. Everyone was anxious! We were tired, sleepy, hungry, cold and even held off on going to the restroom.

By 8 Am the Disney cast members came out telling us they had security and the police department on stand by. So everyone was told to do a single file line and have one hand up. They told us the quantities of dolls Jasmine, Aurora and Rapunzel 22 total. Pocahontas 14 total. Tiana 13 total. They started counting the hands down the line and I was 14 in line and she said that's where Pocahontas ends if erryone in front of me was getting all 5 dolls. My sister's gf was 15 in line and my sister was 16. So for sure they were getting 3 dolls each. Luckily enough not everyone in front of us wanted all 5 dolls. And we were very happy to learn when they handed out the tickets that we were the last 3 in line to get 5 sets. After all the madness and waiting in line for almost 7 hours we were able to get 3 sets of the 5 dolls. 15 total. It was the best scenario and all of our efforts paid off.

I was able to complete my collection. And to show my appreciation for the dolls and this line I am reviewing each doll in order of its release on youtube. Pls. come check them out. I went into this collection promising myself that I would not pay for these dolls at ridiculous prices and that I would do everything I can to complete it. Staying up late, stalking the online store every night even if I had to work early the next day, and missing a day of work this past Monday. I am glad it's over and I am happy I'm one of the 4,000 who completed the 10 doll set. I'm NOT selling any of my dolls. As a true collector I am fulfilled and glad I found a way to buy all my dolls fairly not purchasing more than I had to. Now.. onto fulfilling a new collection! My Designer Doll Reviews.

We all felt the same way!!!! VIOLATED! They actually thought it was me joking around behind them because we were in our own little friendly competition between ourselves. But I was actually running ahead of them. My sister said out loud when we formed the first line "I would've been right behind you if this FUCKER didn't hold me back to get ahead of me!!!" Then after that we all got kicked out by security. So basically that run was for nothing. The 2nd time we just jogged/ walked fast to the door of the mall. These dolls were not worth getting hurt for. After the 2nd run the final line was formed so there was no more running. But some people in front were antagonizing the people in the back. We just ignored it. Seriously luck was on our side to be the last 3 to get all 5 dolls.

Like...really? SO NOT THE SPIRIT OF DISNEY AT ALL.

Wow. It makes me sick that they got dolls at all for any reason.

Good for you! I'm glad you got the dolls despite the second time not trying to kill yourself to get in line. If I was in the back of the line I would have said "well at least I'm a true collector and not some greedy scum looking to sell them for 5x their price!" LOL

I'm still very happy for you. I'm glad all I wanted was Ariel and Mulan. I'm very short tempered and I would have not held back. Police may have been involved. XD
