Well... What? Weird...

I see those ALL over wall-mart, its a company who LOVES making knock of version of Disney films, thinking people will accidentally pick it up thinking it were the popular movie from Disney or pixar.......yeah, they're all horrible

Yep. They're good to snark and little else. Though I heard their take on Sherlock Holmes involved dinosaurs and that one might've been good by virtue of passing the ridiculousness barrier.

I saw a trailer for it just now on youtube and it looks really bad. Honestly, the animation looks worse than CGI from ten years ago. Barbie in the Nutcracker had better graphics than this.

Plus, are people REALLY that stupid?

can you please post a link to the youtube video of the trailer.

What the heck did I just watch? O_____O

Especially the flying part right? That was just mindf*ck.

They have it at the Redbox at the Kroger near my house.... I wonder if anyone's rented it thinking it's Pixar's Brave.
blueriptide: Frankie Steinblueriptide on June 29th, 2012 04:30 pm (UTC)
Oh I saw it at the exact same place! I was waiting in the car while my family was doing everything and I saw a small little box that said Brave with a red-haired girl and was like, "Um, WHAT?" lol
hallarch: contradictionhallarch on June 28th, 2012 03:59 am (UTC)
I'd actually be interested in seeing that to see if I like her any better. I'm part of the "did not like Merida" crowd.

What don't you like about her? I haven't seen the movie, so if you can answer without too many spoilers... ^^;;
hallarchhallarch on June 28th, 2012 06:10 am (UTC)
I was a 'good' movie for sure but not awesome. IDK I just expected much more. She didn't really care about anyone else and it came off as kind of bratty to me.
blueriptide: Applejackblueriptide on June 29th, 2012 04:31 pm (UTC)
She did come off as a bit selfish with her mother's great efforts, but I feel like as the movie progressed and she started to learn her lesson she got a lot better.
Rose: disneypaper_bat on June 30th, 2012 02:38 am (UTC)
I agree. The movie was overrated and I guess because my expectations were so high, I was only let down. Maybe if I didn't see any of the trailers or if people didn't tell me it was "amazing", I would've enjoyed Brave more. Either way, it's far from Pixar's bests.

Really?! Already, Video Brinquedo?

I have nothing against books about existing fairy tales, but it is sad when they copy someone else's popular design so closely just to make a sale.

I saw this on Netflix! And it said "No relation to the Disney film." Hahahahaha. Everyone knows what this company did hehehehe.
cameronlilitzecameronlilitze on June 28th, 2012 11:50 pm (UTC)
There's a whole collection of these that I've seen, let me try and find a link to some others. You'll laugh your socks off, I promise!

*Edit* Not just Disney, here are some others as well.

Chop Kick Panda? Seriously looks like they cut and pasted the Kung Fu Panda...

Puss in Boots I can let slide, as it is a stand-alone fairy tale and doesn't look like a blatant copy.
