Disney Art Nouveau Collection

I've been trying to post more lately, just to get into the good habit, and after reading de_yaten's recent post I realized I had un-uploaded pictures of The Art Nouveau Collection from 2008.

Plus, since this comm's posted about the Nouveau collection before there will be lots of reference links, meaning less work for me and more props to everyone else :D So look for your name and enjoy the pictures!

Note: All merchandise posted about here is no longer for sale at the Disney Store, so happy eBaying ^_^;

Disney Art Nouveau Glass Trinket Boxes

I'd never seen this trinket box before and only found it by random crazy happenstance :D

Disney Art Nouveau Shirts

The very last shirt is noted for being the only inclusion of Belle in the entire collection,
meaning there was art done for her but it just never appeared on any merchandise.

Disney Art Nouveau in The Art of the Disney Princess

The original art for the collection was done by Enrique Pita & Ed Irizarry, as featured in The Art of the Disney Princess.
I haven't spoken to anyone who has the book yet
but it is possible all six images (even the unseen image of Belle) are included therein!

There's another artist's version of a Mucha-esque Belle in the book, by Dorota Kotarba-Mendez. It's really gorgeous. My thought was that perhaps the original Mucha-inspired series DID have a Belle, but the editor of the book didn't want to include it, to avoid having two Belles in so similar a style.
