According to the Stitch Kingdom article:
You may notice some items in the painting which were not in the movie. Remember, Walt Disney gave Thomas Kinkade full access to the original Disney Archives which means Thom was able to observe Disney works which were not included in the movie.
But here's something that irks me a little:

But here's something that irks me a little:
The painting features a lot of crosses as castle spires. And as careful as Walt was to separate his religion from his business, and how much of Kinkade's business is his religion - it was furrowing my brow, all right.
I went to DVD screencaps of the castle and couldn't see any cross-shaped spires except two arrows that make upside-down crosses.

But in checking my photos and concept art, I found the model of Beast's Castle in the Pays Des Conte De Fee ride in Disneyland Paris has crosses on its spires:
So the cross spires could be from concept art both Kinkade and Disneyland Paris capitalized on. I'm still giving it the side-eye.

And you may be wondering, where's Faline? Wasn't she kind of important to the movie? Thomas Kinkade doesn't think so.
ETA: Faline is with Bambi's mom!
bri_chan pointed out Faline has blue eyes while Bambi's are brown. Thanks!

Previous Thomas Kinkade Disney Paintings
The Little Mermaid
Sleeping Beauty and The Lion King
Beauty and the Beast Falling in Love & Bambi's First Year
Cinderella Wishes Upon a Dream
The Princess and the Frog
Tinker Bell & Peter Pan Fly To Neverland
Snow White in the Woods (no cameos)
Kinkade adds cameos from his other paintings as he makes them - the Snow White & Pinocchio paintings have no cameos, but the Peter Pan & Cinderella paintings have cameos of Snow White & Pinocchio. And so Bambi is now a cameo in Beauty and the Beast.
Except Kinkade has yet to feature any of the characters from The Princess and the Frog in any other paintings, though apparently it was part of another series. I'm definitely giving him the side-eye for a lot of things these days.
